7 month report

I am new to this particular board...But I am happy to say that I am now 7 months and 2 days out of surgery and have lost 123 lbs I have absolutely no regrets and I feel great. I have went from a size 28 (tight) to a size 14 and some 12's. I was able to take my girls to Tennessee for Spring Break...and was able to walk and walk and walk...without resting. This surgery has benefited my whole family's life.

Hi Schtina, Congrats on your loss!!! I had my surgery on 9/4/03 and am down 122 pounds so far. I feel the same way as you, no regrets, would do it again in a NY minute. I havent needed my blood pressure medicine or pain medication for my back since shortly after surgery. I still have a ways to go but I bought my first pair of size 18 jeans in 25 years last week. Keep up the great success!!!
