I didn't know that there was a msg board here at Obesityhelp.com like this. I was posting on my doctor's board which has been down since Oct. Well, I had my surgery on Sept. 12th. I've now lost 71 lbs. I was 350 and am not 279. I work out 5x a week before work...that's at the disgusting hour of 6am. I haven't been feeling too great emotionally the past few days. I was speaking to a friend about it. I am trying to remind myself of the amazingness of having lost what I have... but Sunday I took a bra and panties picture and we did tape measurements and I just didn't look like I thought I did or wanted to before Xmas. I don't know if any of you are like me, but I will be seeing my extended family who hasn't seen me since the operation. I know there is a definite, undeniable difference in my appearance but I was just wanting to wow them a little more than I will. At any rate, have any of you felt like you haven't lost what you wanted to by xmas? -Sheri

I know what you mean. I have my surgery 11 weeks ago and have lost 55 lbs. My goal was 50lbs by Christmas. People can definitely notice, but I just wi**** was more noticable. I think I've dropped about 2 sizes...I now have to pin my pants for them to stay up. I'm planning on going shopping after Christmas. Keep up the good work!!
