Vomiting Issues
I, too, take my larger vitamins at night, but I had the same issues
during my pregnancies. The morning just didn't work for me. I have
not had much vomiting unless I induce it myself. There were many many times I
still took too large a bite, and having never been one to throw up
much, I would suffer with it for the next hour, hurting, mouth
watering, deep breathing through it... But right or wrong I found
that if I get "that feeling", I go throw it up, feel better within
a minute and start over. When I was at my worst I stuck to soup.
I did have to realize that the denser the food, the smaller bite I
have to take. It's like trial and error. And I cannot do bread and
pasta, they seem to expand. One of my best tips and tricks is that
the food I eat must be moist. That might mean broth, gravy, or if
worst comes to worst ketchup. Even now, a piece of dry anything turns
me away.
Good Luck, Suzanne
Four months out and I lose one meal a day. Warm soups go down best and chili. No meat or chicken, breads or stringy vegatbles either. I probably am a bit too restricted but as long as I can keep most meals and take my medicine I am not going to complain, yet. When I reach my goal weight I may ask for a small unfill. Jim
I am 4 months out and down 80 pounds...20 to go to goal. I vomit everything. It doesnt matter the speed, the amount, the type. I vomit everything solid. My doctor says I do not have a stricture. He says I just have an extra sensitive stomach. I am hoping it will go away eventually. Just remember to drink lots and dont let yourself get dehydrated. My doctor suggests gatorade because it has potassium in it. Ive been in the hospital a few time for dehydration and low potassium.
