6 weeks po.
I am six weeks out and I have lost 33 pounds. I am not sure if I am eating right. I eat low fat cottage cheese, fat free cheese, soup, I have toasted some bread and I cut into half and then half again, so I have four corners. I take one peice and put Tuna fish on it and eat that and that really feels me up.I eat mash pototes. I dont know if I am eating right for my 6th week. I also made some chilli with Extra Extra lean meet. So far I have not had trouble with anyting I eat. Is this okay? I have not tried any sugar and I dont want to. I just dont know if I am eating right. Can someone please give me some advice?

Hi, Rhonda, I'm also 6 weeks out and visited my dr. last week. He added things to my diet last week (fruits, veggies, soft meats), even though some don't agree with me yet. I think by 6 weeks you can start to experiment with new solid foods (preferrably close to home in case they don't agree with you) and find out what works for you. I have stocked up on shrimp since meats aren't totally agreeing yet and I need the protein and it doesn't hurt that I love shrimp! Good luck on the rest of your journey!
My only suggestion to you would be to cut down on the carbs (mashed potatoes, bread, etc.). I'm at the stage now where if I don't eat mostly meat, I won't get enough protein. I'm saving the high-carb foods for later on, like 6 months from now, after I've lost most of what I want to lose. I've found that the less carbs I eat, the less I crave them.
Just a suggestion.
