Just wondering if anybody else went to BTC. I thought they were great but haven't seen to many postings about them. They have me on full liquid still and then pureed for a week. Wondering what everyone else is eating and how they are doing. Thanks, Judie

Hi Judie, i went to BTC had my surgery Open RNY Feburary 12th 2003 Have lost 82lbs have only 28 more to goal. I was on clear liquid for 1 week then Full liquid for 2 weeks then pureed from there went to soft foods the 6th week i graduated to solid foods. I had a real hard time getting down the amounts they wanted me to have but it eventually got better My surgery was done at the BTC in Ann Arbor Mich.by Dr. Jon Schram. I've been lucky enough to be getting the protein I need and haven't had any problems with that. I've been on a stand still for about 1-1/2 months not loosing but have been loosing inches so am happy with that they told me that because I was so close to my goal it would start coming off a lot slower. I have went from a size 24 to a size 14-16 depending on the way the outfit is made. Hope everything is going well for you. If you need to talk or if there's anything you need to ask I'll be happy to to try and help. Best of luck: Shirley From Michigan

Judie, I also went to BTC. I had my surgery on 9/29 in Pennsylvania. I'm on pureed food right now. I've only had the mashed potatoes and the chicken salad. I tried an egg, but it made me feel sick. They told me that it could happen and to try again in a few weeks. Have you tried any of the other recipes? I've seen people on here saying they've had Wendy's Chili. I'm sort of afraid to try it. Keep doing well. Dawn

Hi Judie, I went to the BTC in Wylie TX. I also thought they were great. I can eat anything except beef. I eat a lot of chicken, ground turkey, and fish. I really don't miss the beef. I also have trained myself when I think I am going to take my last bite put my fork or spoon down and don't eat it. I have only eaten this last bite twice and was sick both times. So far I have lost 63 pounds since 6/5/2003. I feel so much better. Keep up the good work as it is worth it. Susan Stone
