Surgery is over!

Well all things considered the surgery was a success. I have a substantial amount of gas pain and some incision pain, but all in all it's all good. I don't think I was on pain killers long enough as I was a little zoned, so they took away my pump....oh well They did allow me to have a shot every 4 hours if I wanted and I didn't do it much during the day, but certainly used it at night. So far I'm not at all annoyed at the food choices, jello, broth, coffee and water. Hopefully when I move to solid foods next week I will be ok with the portions....either way I need to get fine with it. Well I will update next week, but I must say so far so good and no regrets.

I am glad to your surgery was a success! I bet you got one good last pump of pain meds before they took it away. Keep us posted Barb on your journey. My surgery is in 6 days! I will be right behind you. Take Care & God Bless.
