YaY!!! I'm thrilled yet scared all at the same time

My surgery date is scheduled for Sept. 10th. I am thrilled to finally be scheduled but at the same time you get all of the people *****ally don't understand what you are going through or what you are facing telling you all of the horror stories that they have heard about what can go WRONG. If only they knew what can go RIGHT. I guess I face telling my mother in the next couple of weeks what is going on and that scares me more than the surgery itself because I know how worried she will be. Good luck all of you September buddies sharing probably the same excitement and fears that I am having.
