I'm a few weeks ahead of you, but I want to welcome you to the August club! When do you start your pre-op diet?

Pre-op: -25 M1: -16.8 M2: -10.8 M3: -14.4 M4: -7.3
You all have more lenient surgeons. My surgery is Aug 7, and I am supposed to be on clear liquids for 10 days prior. I can have lettuce but nothing else except some fresh orange squeezed on it. I have been drinking 1/2 bottle of Isopure 3 x a day. Not too difficult during the day, but the nights are hard. He said that it will help make the surgery go easier by shrinking my liver. One more week.....

I'll be your surgery buddy! I will be having surgery the end of Auggy, no set date yet, but everythings been submitted and that should take two weeks, i wont be having the sleeve though, I am having gastric bypass....! I am on the pre op diet, are you? if so, what are you eating? best of luck, Bonnie

My RNY is on August 19, 2014 at Toronto East General Hospital with Dr. Cyriak. Currently in my first of 3 weeks of Optifast! Good luck and Godspeed in your surgery. The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step! Woot Woot!
I'm nervous...determined...a bit excited...a bit dreading it in some ways...all normal. All in all, this is a profound blessing and a new lease on life for us. Hang in there!
You and I are having WLS on the same day. I'm having gastric bypass and my emotions are all over the place. I'm excited, nervous, and scared all at the same time. I think it's normal in some ways though.

I'm having the sleeve on August 20th
had the lap band in 2009 and had to have it removed in 2012 due to it restricting my stomach too much it was way to tight had to be cut off!
So now 2 years later I'm back for the sleeve! I'm very excited and very nervous!!!!
I am scheduled for the sleeve on September 16th, just a couple weeks after you. My biggest fear is that I will still be as hungry as I am now after the operation!

im having the sleeve done on August 26th. I'm excited and nervous at the same time, I have a million scenarios going through my head right now, what about you?
My surgery is schedule august 26th and I am having RNY. I would love to go through the process with someone else who is going through it at the same time. Anyone?
