i would love to hear from those who are 9-10 months out and hear how you are doing.
Sorry. Just seen this. I had surgery on Aug 26,2014 and I would also like to have those who are at about the same step, progress and even set backs that I am at. Been through the belly pain, the stall, the weight gain, nausea, stall again, taking in too much sodium, weighing myself too much and so forth. I'm at about 8 weeks now and it has been very interesting! Not losing every week. How about you guys?
How are things going? I had surgery August 4th. I would love to hear how others are doing that had the surgery around the time I did.
I had my op on Aug 13th, and I am having a hard time with full solids. I enjoy broth still, actually. I am frustrated at all the protein shakes out there, so I have a hard time getting in my protein. Other than that, fat free jello, yogurt, and pureed squash....
I am eating mashed potatoes thinned out with skim or 2% milk. You can ma**** or blend it with flaky tilapia. I have heard others eat the deviled can meat, but I can't get past the name.
Ok so i am actully having my surgery aug 23 in las cruses NM. I am so excited and scared. I have butterflies that just wont go away its so consuming all my thoughts all i can think about is the 23rd. I want this so bad i want to be healthy. I want to be able to take pictures with my kids and actully like what i see. I want to buy my clothes in normal stores not in plus size stores. i want so much and i am going to get it. I am going to make all my kids proud i am there mom!!!! i got this.......EXCITED!
I've mostly been chowing down on sugar free pudding and greek yogurt - both of which I'm thoroughly sick of at this point. If you eat it slow enough, those little "Laughing Cow" cheeses are pretty decent.

Metabolism varies from person to person. Before preop, 1200-1400 calories a day meant weight loss for me, so when I started the preop diet with 1100 cals I continued to lose weight.

Wow my normal allowance is 1300 cals. It doesn't seem like just 200 cals less can equal that weight lost.
Great for you, I might need to check my figures. Good luck on the procedure too

I have been on this liquid diet for 8 days now. It is horrible. I am hungry all the time, yet I have to cook for the family. I want to cheat, but I feel so guilty. I am so sick of protein shakes.
