WLS in August

My surgeon's office called this morning and told me my insurance has approved my sleeve! The date is set for 8/4. I'm so exited that I'm getting nothing else done today. lol I can only think about the surgery. My pre-op instruction meeting is in 2 weeks and my 2-week pre-op diet starts in 4 weeks. July is so busy that I know the time will pass by really quickly and that's a good thing.

Anyone else with an August surgery?

Congratulations, my date is Aug 5th and I'm so excited. There was so much to do in preparation for the insurance company but now the real work begins. Good luck to you.

Congrats, I'm excited for you.  I don't have a surgery date yet but hopeful for August. I've done the phyc, fitness and nutrition appointment and the final appointment with them are mid July so hopefully Aug is the month.   If you don't mind I would like to tag along with you thru the process. 

I hope August is your month, too! Sounds like you're close to getting your date. :-)

Hi! I have testing throughout July and then we are just waiting for my last weigh in at Weigh****chers August 12. My surgeons office told me today that I will be having surgery by end of August!

I am also having surgery August 4th.  I am anxious because it still seems so far away.  What are you doing to prepare yourself for this big day?  I joined a Y and started water aerobics and some gym work.  Come on, August. 4!!!

I'm eating a 1400 calorie diet, walking and riding my bike. I have an instruction meeting a week from Tuesday and will receive my pre-op and post-op dietary guidelines then. I'll be starting my pre-op diet in just 3 weeks. I think August 4th will be here before we know it. 5 more weeks...
