I find out tomorrow if I am going to have surgery on August 15th. I almost threw up when they called to ask if I would consider the date :) I am so, so nervous - I have never had surgery...EVER.. Best of luck to you both in your journey. Blessing and Prayers...

Im going for surgery August 13th I'm SO excited! Day 2 of liquid diet and I still want my coffee.. How about u?
I am on day 2 of liquid diet. I am scheduled for sleeve gastrocomy on August 13, 2013. Dont have the time yet. My surgeon is Dr. Elli at UIC in Chicago. My question is. Is anyone else struggling with this? I am a coffee drinker and have been since I was 16 and now I am 30. My first day yesterday I didnt have any. Today I tried it black.. OMG thats horrible!! I need some ideas of things I can have. Anybody??
My surgery is on Aug. 15th. We both will be on the losers bench very soon. Good luck :)
I am so excited! I've waited a long time and finally its getting close. Tomorrow I will start my pre-op liquid diet for two weeks.
How has the liquid diet been going for you? I start mine on August 5th and the nutrionist was explaining I could lose up to 20 lbs alone before surgery from it.
Thanks and Congrats to you! My prep appointment and workshop went well. The staff were all so helpful and nice. The workshop was very informative on everything that is going to happen from start to finish in regards to surgery and care. It helped calm my nerves a little bit. I have my last appointment with Dr. Kligman on the 5th before surgery....

Orientation: April 22, at HRRH Dr. Klein -May 9, RN, NUT and SW. --May 17/ Dr. Glazer - June 6 / Dr. Klein - July 8. Surgery - August 20, 20013!!!!
