I had the same thing 12 months and 2 days ago. :) your Lucky there doing it in one go, I had to have the lap band removed 3 months before that, let it heal then have a second surgery for my rny. The rny is so much better, and I didn't find the surgery any where near as painful as the lap band. Good luck.
With deep sadness........we honor Dr. Alberto Aceves.

Hey there, I had my surgery Aug 27th in T.O. as well. How are you doing? Mine went great and I am finding it easy to deal with. Making good choices and feeling better since I am taking more vitamins, (I was really weak for a while). Exercising more and I am already noticing a difference in some of my physical problems. Going through clothes like crazy though but I know it will slow down soon.
Hope you are doing well!!!
Thought I'd check in with my "surgiversary" partners. How are you doing? What type of surgery did you have? Is it what you expected?
Best to all,
Carol
Hi Elizabeth! Thanks for the compliment on my blog. I'm glad you like it. I used deli style roast beef from Costco in my Philly Cheesesteak rolls. Hmm...if you are having problems with beef, you could substitute deli chicken. It would be like a Chicken Philly. Yum!
How are you doing surgery twin? Was just reading your blog and it's GREAT!!!!!
Thanks for taking pics of yourself in the hospital. I wasn't sure if I wanted to do that but I did and am glad. It is an important part of the journey. I'm trying to do pics/measurements every month.
Also love your recipes and pics of what you're eating. The Philly inspired roll ups look so good. Did you use deli roast beef? I'm having probs with ground beef/beef or any meat except turkey and chicken and still cannot eat eggs.
Hope you are doing well!!
Elizabeth
