August 14th - Lap band revision to bypass - I am soooo ready!!!
RNY on 08/08/13

Hi. Thanks for thinking of me. Surgery went well yesterday. Still feel like a zombie due to drugs and tiredness. Pain ok. Managed well with said drugs! Very sore but not too bad. Hardest part is not drinking. So thirsty! But must wait 48 hours after band removal and bypass to heal a bit more. Though I drank some nasty stuff and it showed no leaks!
I stay for 5 or 6 days - that 's standard European stay- so I'm glad I'll be taken care of for that long and won't have my family as a distraction! Anyway - bring Chapstick, lots of toothpaste and plenty of washcloths for keeping your face moist and rubbing your mouth out. Sounds gross but it's been a lifesaver for me!
Will let you know how it goes. So glad you'll be joining me on the journey,
Ashley

I had the same thing 12 months and 2 days ago. :) your Lucky there doing it in one go, I had to have the lap band removed 3 months before that, let it heal then have a second surgery for my rny. The rny is so much better, and I didn't find the surgery any where near as painful as the lap band. Good luck.
