This is my first post.I went to my first support meeting last week and 2 ladies was trying to talk me ouy of the lap band.What made u decide on the type of surgery.

Actually I'm a little nervous, but not really scared. I am eager to get past all of this waiting, and I feel ready to be on the actual side of it all...if that makes sense!
I have been finishing up all of my pre-op appointments, which have been going well...and I'm ready to get this show on the road!!!
I think I'll start packing for the hospital soon....I won't take much, and definitely won't forget the chapstick, toothpaste and toothbrush! :)

I have surgery scheduled for the same day. I was totally excited through the entire process, now I find as the date is creeping up I am extremely nervous. I guess that's to be expected. Best of luck to you!
