OMG!!!!! That make 4 of us, am having my revision on 8/27/12 at 3pm, am so excited but scared. we are so blessed hope everything goes well for all of us :)

I was quite surprised at how little pain I had! I am knocking on wood that it stays like this!
I actually had more pain From the lapband and the gas that builtup under my shoulder, but this time did not!
I have showered, putter around the house and even did some laundry! See why I am amazed! Wish everyone could have it so easy- but I am not out the woods yet- only 2nd day home! Good luck - just remember it is like your birthday- that's how my niece described it! like being the first day of the rest of your new and healthy llife... So much to look forward to! My only complaint is I snuck on the scale and had gained 7 lbs! i about died... But they do pump you with IV fluids- so I laughed and reminded myself to be patient! I had to do liquid diet for Lapband so i knew what to expect! Be sure to get your protein in.. I even fixed hubby some lunch and dinner -it did not bother me! I know I need time to heal and realize I don't want to mess this up! bad enough this is my second surgery... Hang in there- be sure you drink plenty... and watch those head games - old hbits are hard to break.. but you can do this.. We all can! Good luck - touch base any time..

I hope your cold goes away here soon. I think you're good as long as you have no fever. My husband and youngest daughter have colds. I pray I don't catch anything over the weekend!

Congrats Cheryl...did you have a lot of pain immediately after? How are you adjusting to your new lifestyle???

Glad everything was ok with you Cheryl.I am just struggling with this 2 week liquid diet.Did you have to do one as well and if you did how did it go?

Congrats!!! so that makes THREE of us....maybe we can post here when we are able to check in on one another? I think it would be a good idea. I had a six month plan so my weight fluctuated within 10 lbs...I first gained and then lost...I didn't want to go below a certain weight because I would not qualify for the surgery. My weight was 39.97 when I started, so I wasn't trying to lose. I am losing on the 2 week preop liquid diet though. I look forward to Monday morning and I am praying for a successful surgery and speedy recovery for all of us....
For the Hospital- My CPAP, a comfortable outfit to go home in, comfy gown, chapstick, cell & charger, ipad and charger...that's about it. I cannot wait to pack Sunday night!!! I was told that I would have to stay for 2 days....

Congrats on your upcoming surgery...I am one day ahead of you on 8/27! I'm not really nervous, but very much excited and looking forward toa healthier life!
