I am so excited. RNY 02/2005, Went from 322 lbs to 147 lbs in 15 months. My son was born 09/2007 and daughter was born 04/09, so needless to say the weight gain was on.... But Thank God, I am getting another chance to do it over again 08/15/2012.

I can't believe how fast the date has approached. I'm nervous and I hope I can do this liquid diet, I start that in 8 more days.

I had the band and then had it removed .,... i am in the process of being approved for RNY ... I assume the surgery since its considered a "revision" would be laproscopic and simular !!!

I, too, am scheduled for August 15th. I am mostly excited about the surgery and just slightly nervous. I am grateful to find this website and learn from others who have also gone through the same kind of surgery.

My surgery is the 7th and I am on day 6 of my pre-op diet. I really want a whataburger meal. I have been fine since getting the right protein shake but since last night I really really want a whataburger meal. Boo.

My surgery was delayed a week due to illness so now I will be having it on August 8th. YOur date it rapidly approaching though so use the time you have to get prepared...it will be here before you know it. For me, I started this posocess 16 MONTHS AGO, so having it delayed was really so frusterating! Best of luck to you!
