August 20th...Ready for my new beginning!

I have been a follower on here for quite a while, but never posted.  I was too scared I would be turned down for my surgery.  Just got the word yesterday, I am a go and my date is August 20 for my RNY!  I am so excited!!!

myrevision from band to sleeve is 8/22!!  so excited cannot wait.. good luck to you!!  we will get skinny, healthier and happier at the same time!!

just  checking in.. surgery went very good sleeve revised from lapband on 8/22-ust came home today.. feel amazingly pain free.. hope it stays like this.. not even gas pains like I had so bad for my band..  how are you doing?
walked every time I got up in the hospital, and even ath ome.. even did a litle laundy...so glad  the surgery part is over and now the weightloss can begin!!  keep in touch.. good luck to you!!

I'm home from hospital, and I know what you mean about PAIN. Oh my goodness, it hurts so badly. I really didnt know about the pain that could come days after the surgery. I might have had second thoughts if I had known.

Well, I'm glad you did not have some much pain this time. Yes, let the weight loss begin! :)

 Well it gets better by the day!  I only have discomfort now- the liquids are trying but you aren't hungry!  And have dropped off 5 pounds already!  You will live this once the pain goes away! Cheryl
