surgery date change

Surgeon's office called today to change my surgery date.  There was a miss communication and docs are going out of town for a last trip before kids go back to school.  Thank goodness I haven't ordered my mom's plane tickets yet.  Feeling a bit depressed over the delay.  I need to get a reality check on that because in the spectrum of how long most people wait for wls,  I am on the fast track.  August 1 to August 15 is only 2 extra weeks.  I just need to focus on the extra time meaning more time to lose before surgery.

 That's a bummer, if you're anything like me you would have been counting down t he days!!

At least it's 2 weeks and not 2 months I guess!

 I too got the dreaded phone call rescheduling my August 1st surgery. But, mine isn't going to be until 8/22/12 .  I was already counting down the days. But, I am thankful still- All in good time... Best of luck to you and may you have a smooth and uneventful surgery/recovery.

My surgery was delayed a week due to illness so now I will be having it on August 8th. YOur date it rapidly approaching though so use the time you have to get prepared...it will be here before you know it. For me, I started this posocess 16 MONTHS AGO, so having it delayed was really so frusterating! Best of luck to you!
