August 6 is my date

How did everything turn out for you on your surgery ?  I came home yesterday and was in so much pain from the gas. Today is a much better day. No Nausea or throwing up at hospital so I fell great about that piece. I met others that were not as lucky and really were in tough shape. I am grateful to be on the other side of this. Here's to new beginnings !

I came home yesterday also after staying 2 nights at the hospital. My surgeon found a hernia in my diaphram that he repaired. I think most of my abdomin pain is from that. I have had lots of muscle pain all over. I think it is just how my body reacts to anestesia. The muscles in my legs and arms get really sore and it's like they forget how to function making mobility rather tricky. I am much better today. I didn't have any nausea or vomiting either in the hospital. They gave me a patch and a few shots for that and sent me home with anti nausea meds. I haven't gotten brave enough to not take the nausea pills just yet. I have spread out how often I take them tho. I just can't imagine how much it would hurt to throw up right now. I got to laughing yesterday and it was really painful!

I'm glad you made it through your surgery too. I think we are past the worst of it. I know we are past the scary stuff. Now we just have to do the work and make the most of it!
