Got my surgery date, August 31st, can't wait! I have to drop about 6 lbs by that day or my insurance will reject the claim and I will be sent home from the hospital to lose more weight.

i''m excited for you! the clear liquid diet for two days was hellish for me but totally worth it. remember to follow the rules before and after surgery, they are there to keep you from getting ill. i'll be thinking about you!

All liquid today tomorrows the big day and I woke up scared and thinking what the hell am I doing? But I know it needs to be done. I wish you success with your surgery. Cabbage soup ugh! ;)

My 14 days was up yesterday and I had very little food and lots of protein shakes!! I had a serving of fruit, vegetable and a starch along with the shakes in between. I've lost more weight during this time, not sure how much I weigh now but I started the liquid diet at 283 lbs! Monday is my big day at 1:00 pm!

Well, I had to postpone my surgery. It's not exactly a bad thing all around, because I got a job that I wanted, so will have to wait until December for surgery. I already have it scheduled, so good luck to you all!!

How are all you 8/29ers doing? Getting anxious or excited? Building my protein shake stash and gathering recipes for hubby to make. Have my pr-op tomorrow. Guess it will set in more after that. Hope you're all doing well.
