My surgery date is Aug 31....
just checking in on how you are both doing/feeling.
My surgeon requires a 7 day liquid pre-op diet. What do you both have to do for pre-op?

Wow a 7 day pre-op liquid diet. What surgery are you having?

I am having RNY and I have to do a 2 day liquid diet pre-op.

Tomorow I have my final pre-op appointment to get ready. I think I am meeting with a nurse practioner to go over all my pre-op stuff and get any Rx I may need to get filled ahead of time for after my surgery. I have several questions writting down to ask.

Congrats on your surgery date! 

I am feeling excited and nervous to be honest!

My surgeon also requires a 7 day liquid diet.  Its not to bad though.  The first 6 days you I can still have applesauce, lf cottage cheese, strained cream soups.  Im most nervous about the day before surgery and the clear liquid diet.  YIKES!  Im sure it will be okay.  You just have to have the willpower.

Mine is also on August 30th. The day couldn't come any sooner...honestly.

I hear that.  Its been a 6 month looonnng process for me.  I have never been more ready!

My date is aug 30th as well congrats to everyone!!!! My surgeon has me on 14day pre op diet. First 3 days was horrible but im feeling great now. I cant wait and my wedding anniversary is the same day lol. Im elated cant wait for this new chapter.
