Hey everyone.My name is Elisha.I am 21 and I live in CT. I finally got my date and im so excited.My process went very smoothly and quikly.My surgeon. Dr.Ehrlich is awesome he is so sweet and polite.I am ready to lose this weight.I ahve type 2 diabetes and I dont want totake insulin injections anymore.I was just hoping to get to know some of you who are having surgery in August like me so we can help support eachother.Well best of luck to everyone.Take care. Thank you guys for the support. I don't think it still has sunk in yet...LOL I have a lot of pre-op stuff to do. Today I am going for my bloodwork. Next Monday I have a mandatory meeting with the surgeon for 4 hours. The following week I have to do my Upper GI chest x-ray,, have a pulmonary fuction test, see the cardiologist and then finally get sign-off from my primary. WHEW!!! But it is all worth it. Congrats to you all too. Can't wait to be a LOSER!!!!

Good luck, my surgery is the same day. I am so ready. I have not had a glass of coke cola for 3 days now. I am so ready.

Me too!! I'm so excited - I'm August 11 with Dr. Bright in Spokane, Washington. Mine has been ridiculously quick, so I feel really blessed to be getting on with it.

My date is the 11th also. I will be having RNY with David Dyer in Nashville Tn. I know how excited you are. I am looking forward to the day i like what i see in th mirror and feel like doing something other than sit on the couch. Good Luck!!
