Well thanks guys. I know alot of us have had long journeys to get to this point but the wait was worth it! I am getting more excited the closer it gets. Of course I am starting my liquid diet tomorrow so we will see how excited I am after that.

...I bet you are relieved! Congrats on your surgery date. On August 5th I go to my Pre-op class and get my info and stuff for surgery. I'm so happy for you, my journey began in January,seems like forever but now Im here, along with you!

I'm scheduled for surgery Aug 4th at 7am. Good luck to you. For a real pick me up look at the before and after photos on this site.

I'm having RNY and I started the pre-op diet today. 2 - 3 protein drinks a day and a eve meal of 3oz meat and a veg. They say if you are hungry drink water. That is really funny. Good Luck !!!!

I'm scheduled to have surgery that day, too. Which one are you having? I'm having the VSG. I'm also worried about getting through the pre-op diet!!
