yeah my thought with school and moving was that i am starting my "new life" but my surgury was suposed to be back in may but the dr's have really let alot slip and it was delayed. I had no idea this would all happen at once but i guess ready or not here i come! lol

You can do it Kathie. I haven't started yet but I know its going to be hard. I don't know how your doctor is but some say if you just have a small meal it won't affect things too much. Low blood sugar isn't a good thing either. I have diabetes as well and when my sugar gets below 115 I start feeling woozy. What are you using for the liquid diet? I am going to use boost glucose control as per my Dr. but I'm going to have another kind  of shake around should my sugar get to low so that I can switch it up a little.
You're doing great and keep your chin up. I've heard the first 3 or 4 days are the worse and then your brain and stomach say FINE i guess I'll give up on getting real food. See you on the loser's bench!!!!

Congrats!!! That will be here before you know it. I have surgery the 14th so make sure to leave me room on the loser's bench.

Hi all well this is also my first post as ive only just found this site and with only 4 days utill my surgery im releived ive finaly found other people whom i can talk to who completely understand what it is im about to go through. After having to appeal for this surgery for the past 2 years then being on the surgery waiting list since jan this year im a little in shock thats its finaly here and cant wait to start my journey on the long road to a healthy future.....regards laura x
