My date is August 3rd, too! I am very excited. I have had days were I was kinda sad, too... don't really know what that was all about.
Some people said that I was having the 'two-week freak'. But, I am feeling better now! I hope all of you are having a good day and looking forward to our new lives!

How is your full liquid diet going? I am sure that that sucks quite a bit.
I am doing the lowfat diet. The day before surgery, I have to go to all clear liquids. In the early evening I have to drink an entire bottle of magnesium citrate... Oh, that is gonna be one heck of an experience!!

How long have you had your band? I take it that you did not like it? So, you are having a sleeve done now?

I, too, am having the DS surgery on August 3rd!! I am so very happy for all of us.
My doctor has me on a two week low fat (less than 40-50 grams/day) diet. The day before surgery is all clear liquids with a wonderful Magnesium Citrate drink in the early evening....
I hope everyone is excited for their surgeries!

Hey how are you? Yes I have had my pre op testing and have started my pre op diet of 1000 calories a day.Yea you can write me whenever you want.If you ever wanna talk im here.Best of luck to you.Keep in touch

Good luck! For those that have Dr. Almanza, I'll bet we'll all end up meeting each other the morning of surgery or maybe after. Are either of you staying at the recovery house afterwards?

Hello....my surgery date is Aug 4th also! have you had your pre op testing? i finally found someone who will be going thru it the same time as me. i hope that we can keep in contact. My surgery is schudled for 845am. WOW

I feel like my surgery date is my new Birthday too!
Hopefully in the next few days I will get a picture up and posted so my profile will have a face. LOL Also, gotta get those before pics taken.

Wow I can't believe you live sooo close. No I am having the surgery at Hackensack Hospital. I am having RNY is that what you are having?
