I'm so excited, My surgery date is getting closer. I start the optifast on July 29th...second day of our holidays...that scares me a little, as I dont know how Im going to manage......

Hi there, I too, am having surgery on the same day, in Hamilton, Ontario Canada. I start the Optifast on the 29th...right at the beginning of our holidays...Im getting excited though....keep in touch....

Ok, as excited as i am, which I AM - this pre-op diet is NOT so much fun.. At least after surgery there is pain management, there is nothing for HUNGER PAIN. LOL

Wow, that is a long fight with the insurance company! You must be flying with the clouds knowing that you won and your surgery day is just around the corner!!!
