YEAH! Do the days seem to be going faster now that it is getting closer? I go up and down with the emotions. One day I'm excited and the next day I am scared. I guess everyone goes through these types of emotions. It's too bad we just can't go to sleep and wake up already healed and on our way. The pre-op seminar last week said we would have all sorts of tubes coming out of us. That scared me for a while. But they eventually all come out so that is a good thing!

Topic: My surgery date is August 21 NOT ANYMORE
I am so happy to finally have a date thats what I thought at the time. Until this afternoon when the wind was knocked out of me. My Dr office called and said I would have to reschedule to Sept 1. I know it is only a 10 day difference but I feels like a lifetime has been added. Trying to think positive. Hope to see all of you August folks on the other side in Sept.

We're all going to do great.
As for my meals before liquid diet I don't have a lot of options. I want a huge Lone Star Cajun Ribeye and a whole order of their cheese fries with texas ranch, but we don' t have one near here so that isn't happening. I do want my Boyfriends BBQ one more time and I bought a box of cinnamon toast crunch cereal.
But we don't need to live to eat anymore, we're going to be able to eat to live.
YAY!!!!!! (toasting with protein shakes)

I am with you there, I start on the 31st. I know it will be hard but I figure if I can do this pre surgery liquid diet I can do anything. I'm scared too. I am sitting here getting sick to my stomach because I haven't eaten yet this morning. So that makes me wonder how I will do. I am doing Boost glucose control shakes and they are ok but sweet :(
But we can do this. We're strong and we're taking back control of our lives. We just have to stay focused on what's coming. Good health and no more fear of breaking chairs and fitting in chairs and all the other things we think about that skinny people don't have to.
