We have the same date, same weight as of a week ago and we are both the same height. However, I am not a diabetic. I will keep you in my prayers as we go into surgery on Monday!!! I can't wait to hear how your progess goes!!!...Ash

Ohhh Wow!!! I have the same surgery date...just on the other coast!!! I am in Virginia Beach/Norfolk area of Virginia.

Hey Jan that's great news all the way around. He's going for real food, and from my recent experience I can say it goes down much better than all the wierd liquids that are too sweet. It is different, but maybe its time for different. The "traditional" method doesn't always work for everyone. I do question how you will get in all the necessary proteins. This morning I am enjoying peppermint tea, a great soother for the tummy. I've found all the herb teas to be very pleasant forms of liquid.
You know I'll be keeping you in my prayers for a "boring" surgery and a great recovery. Blessings to you my friend!!!

Congratulations ladies...this is my date too! I'm having the VSG done in NYC with Dr. Yatco and I'm thrilled, scared and excited.
