Awesome....That's the news we all want to share !! I am on my 2nd week of the liquid diet just waiting for the 17th to get here...But so far so good.

Hi,
I had my RNY on 08.03.09 also. Im in Charlotte. How did it go for you? Mine was great. No complications or issues at all. I feel great qnd am just waiting to get out of her this evening. Overall, it has been a great experience and I'm looking forward to joining the "loser's bench". I hope all goes well for you.

Topic: Help! Need to lose 7lbs b4 2 weeks pre-op
I have to lose 7 more lbs by the 18th which is my pre-op appointment... my surgery is on the 22nd... I keep trying to lose it but its hard when all I can think about is "this is the last time I will eat this!" I need help... any ideas?!

I know it is hard but you can do it! Just think of you end result you want. I drank alot of Carnation breakfast (sugar free), Soups that were drained, low-sugar yougert, sugar free jello, and sugar free pudding. I know it is not much of a diet and I was soo tried of eating sweet stuff. I just counted down the days to the surgery and pushed on. You will get through it!!

Why in the world would they pull out AFTER giving you the date for your surgery?

Hi happybody try and get as much protein in as possible, for me it eliminated the cravings and hot liquids helped for the hunger.

Congrats on your surgery. Thank you for the tip on walking. I am definately gonna get up and walk, walk, walk.
