aug 12. The first day of the rest of my life.
I will have a gastric bypass (RNY), so soon.....

Very nervous right now

It is SO close... counting down - I'm 48 hours away from one of the most exciting things I've done (outside the DH, kids, and 2 amazing granddaughters).

Hi, I am on the 2 wk liquid diet and headed to lapband on 8/20! Would love to find a buddy to just keep tabs with that has a close date.

My daughter down in Florida is having hers the 11th also.

I am 8/11 RNY! My doc put in an arterial iv that is what i am most afraid of. I have visualized the gas pains, the weakness and all of the other stuff. I just can't get past the iv in my neck. But they don't put it in until i am under so i won't have to know what they are doing but it will stay in for a day or 2. I am also amazed at how this is going to work when so many other things did not work. I am thinking i will be the only one that WLS did not work for. But i am determined to use my tools and do it right. Congrats and good luck.
