Well I had my surgery on the same day and I have lost 90 lbs . I think weight loss depends on several factors, I know that at first when the weight was coming offf quick I was lazy and didnt exercise ,but now that it is coming off slow I have started working my butt off exercising. Sometimes it is good to talk with your doctor and see what changes may be necessary. Others that I have talked to said I was doing fine and seem to have lost more than normal. I have a different opinion ,because I thought I was losing too slow too. You may have to increase your exercise . Good luck to you.

I had surgery on August 25, 2009. I've lost 73 lbs. It seems like the weight loss is really slowing down. And I had hoped to lose more by now. For those that are about 6 months out, I was wondering about your total weight loss. Just trying to judge if I'm doing okay. I'm also wondering if any of you are 8-10 months out, and could tell me what to expect next.

I am having a very similar issue and I've noticed my weight loss has slowed waaaaay down. Today I've decided to do all liquids just because everything has been making me sick lately. I'm not really sure what to do, I had a therapist tell me once though that when I feel like snacking to paint my nails. I've been trying that and that does help some! I also agree that carbs and sugar will make you crave more. I'm just going to be really strict for awhile and see how it goes!
Good luck!!
Good luck!!

All I can say to this is that te more carbs I eat, the more I want. So three days ago Iwent back to the DS basics and owered my carbs quite a bit. Since I have done that I noticed that I really don't want carby munchies. My advse is to resolve to keep your protein high and your carbs under 40 or so for te day.

Anyone that had surgery around end of Aug, beginning of Sept, OMG I have the munchies all the time.
I try to make it protein chips, or meat, but It sticks out as, well, not right?
Anybody, I dont care how far out you are, please advise, and give me your insight, opinions, etc. . .

Thanks!!!
