I haven't heard about protein drinks or vitamins yet. I have testing tomorrow & then I meet with my surgeon. Maybe that's when I'll find out about the "after life".

Thank you Ms. Ronnie. You thoughtful prayers are appreciated and welcomed. My RNY is set for the 28th and I know at this time you have already had your surgery. I hope all things are going well for you, and the Lord blesses you greatly and the Holy Angels watch over and help you with inspirations.

Topic: TO Share Or NOT to share.... that is the question
I am very undecided what I am going to say or do about sharing that I had surgery. Of course all those close to me know, but when I go back to school ( I am in nursing school) and face my classmate whom I have spent wayyyy to many hours with what I am going to say as they notice.
I want to share because it is easier then lying, and I think some will be very supportive, some will say nothing and only a few will chatter behind my back (don't care for them anyhow... I am 38 not 18) but then part of me is ashamed I needed this, but understand fully I NEEDED THIS. NO OTHER CHOICE was right for me.
Thoughts????

Thanks Mona, I"ve been a diabetic forever and I tend to take control as soon as I am alert and am bringing my own stuff including stuff in case I go too low and I can be very vocal if I need be, I've not survived for over 47 years by being a lamb so I know I will be fine but thanks for the encouragement! The prep was the hard part, now if I can get some sleep tonight, will write to everyone when I get back home again, hope by the weekend.

Thanks for the reply, my sittin place is quite sore but I am holding up ok, a bit hungry as I'm sure you are. That mag citrate is the worst bowel prep I have ever taken!
