How much did u lose 4-weeks post op?

Hey fellow August'ers, i had my 4week post op yesterday, the doc said everything is going well, according to the office scales i had lost 26 lbs (at home 31lbs).  I was just wondering how everyone else 4 wk was.  Is mine average or too low, i have always failed at weightloss and i just want to make sure i am on the right track.

i lost 20 at my visit :)

You are doing great.  I lost 20 on the two week preop diet and gained 9 back in IV fluids.I was 321 entering the hospital, 330 when I got home and 305 four weeks out.

Lost a total of 16 pounds post op.

For the dr office they went by my preop weight before the liquid diet of 341 so they saw it as 26. 

I was hoping for more, seems you can never lose as quickly as you like.

I am down 34 lbs so far!

I am down 19.5 but I am thankful for that.  I always lose slowly.  I had hoped this would be better but I guess I am older and ye ole metabolism is just not what it used to be.  I will keep working on it and, hopefully, it will keep churning away.

8/14/09 surgery/ post op visit 9/23/09  = 56lbs VGS

 I am now down 30lbs since surgery.  A total of 40 since preop.

I was down about 30 pounds. I did stall for a bit and seem to be holding there. Hopefully it will fall off next week :)
