Banded on 8/13/09

Hi.. I am Sarah.. Just had my surgery on 8/13.  Feeling good so far!!  Looking for "buddies" who have same or close dates

I was banded on the 13th and I need a buddy too.

Hi Sarah glad to hear you are "feeling good" that is encouraging to me. My surgery is to be on Tuesday Aug.25, I'm getting a litlle nervous. Any last minute secrets let me know. What kind of protein drinks have you found that work for you?

Congrats & best of luck to you on your surgery!!   The protein drink that I am finding most usefull (& yummy) are the fruit juice flavors Nectar (made by Syntrax)  I add it to 20 ounces of water.. and w/ 23g of protein it is a great way to get in your daily protein as well as the water.. kinda like killing 2 birds w/ one stone  : )

I am being banded on Wed. Getting nervous. I could use a buddy or buddies as well. Could you use the protien powders on the clear liquid diet? I am still confused about this.

I am not sure about that.. I was only on clear liquids the night of my surgery.. I was started on full liquids the next morning (at the hospital)
