aug 12.....brrrr...

aug 12. The first day of the rest of my life.
I will have a gastric bypass (RNY), so soon.....  Very  nervous right now

Looking for someone to share feelings, emotions, experiences etc.  Anyone interested?

Hi Gerda!!

I am scheduled for Lapband on the 20th.  Take a deep breath and remember why you are doing this.  Just hang in there.  We always get nervouse right before BIG change and this is going to be a huge change so much is going to get better for you.

I'm trying to control my nerves. But I can't get it out of my mind.
Today I'm gonna pack my bags. I get my surgery in Belgium (we're living in the Netherlands), about 4 hours drive so we will spend the night overthere and wednesdaymorning I have to be in hospital 7.30 a.m.
Than my new life starts...

I'm scheduled for lapbad the same day!!!  I'm nervous and scared, but I know this will be good for me as i'm sure your surg. will be for you.

 Yes we can!... And I'm sure we can and I'm sure this will be good for us. My surgeon told me that after a GBP people live about 10-15 years longer.
