August 11th for me

the final days of the contdown are here. i will starting my liquids on Sunday... looking forward and still a little nervous. i have a two and half year old and i hate to think of not returning to him.
wel just wanted to just a note on my date..

Hey There!

That is the same day as my surgery! I know what you mean about being concerned about not returning to our children. I believe that is a valid concern and I feel the same way. I have trust in my surgeon and the hospital, and I know I will be in the best hands. Plus we should shift our focus to the fact that we are doing this so we can live healthier and do the best that we can do. I know I have been praying alot about it.

Hang in there, we will both be in the recovery room soon...ready to begin our new life.

I'm also August 11th :) I'm feeling you as I have a almost 6 year old at home and I just remind myself how much healthier and more active I will be for him because of this surgery and that I will be around a lot longer too :)

August 11th for me too. I'm feeling the same way. Nervous, anxious and sooo not looking forward to the pain but I am just as excited about having more energy to really start enjoying my life! 

We should all post here after we get home and let the 8/11 crew know you are fine.

I'm Aug. 11th too!  It is getting soo close that it is all i'm thinking about!  I'm very thankful for this opportunity and can't wait to see what God does through this experience.  I will keep you all in my prayers!

My daughter down in Florida is having hers the 11th also.

It is SO close... counting down - I'm 48 hours away from one of the most exciting things I've done (outside the DH, kids, and 2 amazing granddaughters).
