OMG OMG OMG I can't believe it's happening! 5 weeks away. I have my pre-op stuff on Aug.13th which is 23 days away. I'm like 90% excited and 10% nervous. I stay very positive until I hear my mother's mouth open. She is always asking me what I'm eating and that she can't wait to see me after surgery because I will get sick and I have to totally change my eating habits and blah blah blah....I do so much better the days I don't talk to her.

Anyways, I love OH and the details from other people's experiences.

as for your mom ,practice now letting it fo in one ear and out the other. We can't make ppl change we can only change how we deal with people
