I'm scheduled to have surgery that day, too. Which one are you having? I'm having the VSG. I'm also worried about getting through the pre-op diet!!

RNY on 08/10/09

I'm having RNY and I started the pre-op diet today. 2 - 3 protein drinks a day and a eve meal of 3oz meat and a veg. They say if you are hungry drink water. That is really funny. Good Luck !!!!

Hey I'm also having surgery Aug 10th so excited having RNY...I don't need to start the liquid diet...anyways GOODLUCK TO ALL and stay in touch...

VSG on 08/10/09

Hey ladies...I'm 8/10/09 scheduled for VSG with Dr. Ed Yatco at Lenox Hill Hospital. This is so exciting.,..yes, I'm nervous too.

Dr. Yatco only required one day pre-op for liquid diet, but I'm going to start my own. This week smaller portions and more water. Next week will start protein drinks and 1 meal daily.
