AUGUST 11th

OMG!!! I finally got a date!!! It feels so wonderful to know that I will soon have the tool to help me loose weight. I too have been a lurker for a while and was getting jealous of everyone who had their dates. Now finally I am one of those people and it feels so wonderful!!!

Me too and it makes it REALLY REAL!! I start my fatty liver diet (I have a fatty liver, I wont be eating fatty liver lol) on Monday and then Blood tests and pre op consult on july 30th. I am soooooo scared but I know that this is what i need to succeed. After trying everything (and I mean everything) I knew that this was it. So tonigh Ive had my last hamburger for a while and full fat mmmmmm Ice cream. Tomorow Ill probably snack but this is it my new life. Lets journey together :)

My date is the 11th also. I will be having RNY with David Dyer in Nashville Tn. I know how excited you are. I am looking forward to the day i like what i see in th mirror and feel like doing something other than sit on the couch. Good Luck!!

Me too!!  I'm so excited - I'm August 11 with Dr. Bright in Spokane, Washington.  Mine has been ridiculously quick, so I feel really blessed to be getting on with it.

Thank you guys for the support. I don't think it still has sunk in yet...LOL  I have a lot of pre-op stuff to do. Today I am going for my bloodwork. Next Monday I have a mandatory meeting with the surgeon for 4 hours. The following week I have to do my Upper GI chest x-ray,, have a pulmonary fuction test, see the cardiologist and then finally get sign-off from my primary. WHEW!!! But it is all worth it. Congrats to you all too. Can't wait to be a LOSER!!!!

I am so happy for you! I am also having surgery on Aug 11th. I am so excited and I can't wait. I guess next week I will start the liquid diet.
