I have been approved for Lap RNY with Dr. Wasser, Burlington, NJ for August 26, 2008.

Just found out yesterday that my surgery has to be delay until I complete an 8-week Life Skills class. I have cried.........can't even begin to explain how it feels to have your date taken away.

HOORAY!!! I now have a surgery date! August 4, 2008 at 11:30a.m. Now that I have an actual date, I am kinda apprehensive but I guess that is normal. I have started on my all liquid pre-surgical diet and I would appreciate ANY helpful hints for this part. After surgery, I am SURE I will be back here for more hints and support. Thanks to all of you - This is my first "post" but I faithfully read all the posts and tips and good wishes and they help.

me too, me too, me too!! after only 15 months and many, many body systems proded, tests ad examined I finally got Aug. 19th. So we are going to be surgery twins--I'm doing lap RNY--what is your chose? I have not figured out how to set up my page yet so just know I am in California, retired, and very very excited. Do you know how to get the date into the August surgery schedule? Helga

Just got my approval and date yesterday. Anyone else on the 19th? Anyone else feeling giddy like a little schoolgirl?
