What type of revision...you will be fine...just remember someone thinks you are worth another chance...my first chance is August 11th...I am terrified and excited, but I know I have the best surgeon so I am at peace.

Topic: New Member!!! Aug 18th is the BIG DAY
Hi everyone!!! Aug 18th is my surgery and Aug 11th is my sister n laws surgery. WE are each others support. We both are scared to death. Yesterday we went to a class, met the dr and my sister did her pre-op. My pre-op is the day of her surgery. We are really starting to get scared and we just need some incouragement from some of you all who have already had it. I know its different for everyone but still any advice or information you can give us would help. Thank you.

I really feel for you. I was feeling sad because mine was extended one week but 8 weeks. I would have cried too. I don't think anyone who hasn't been in our shoes (anyone going through WLS process knows!!!) can understand how wonderful and relief filled it feels to finally get that date nor could they understand how awful and despairing having that change is, even for a few days. Well, I can commiserate with you or I can encourage you. I want to encourage you. You have waited this long and 8 weeks will be over in a flash. I like to think things happen for a reason, so I will pray that you feel blessed that surgery is right around the corner, and you can jump this one last hurdle with dignity and grace. I am rooting for you.
