Topic: Looking for people around my age who are having or have already had bypass surgery.
I am 25 and having surgery on August 11 of this year. I am looking for people to talk to who have already had surgery or who are having surgery soon. I am having trouble with my pre surgery diet. I was also wondering if anyone had any ideas about what I could eat. Thank you!

I'm scheduled for the 15th too!!! I started in December with 6 months of doc visits but then after everything was submitted it only took ONE DAY to get approval from Blue Cross Insurance. Yippie Can't weight! ha

Good for you; I am scheduled to have my surgery Aug 12 I am both elated and scared. I started my pre-op diet yesterday and so far so good. I can hardly wait to get this weight off and start to feel human again.

I'm Emily and my surgery is scheduled for Aug 11. We are in the same boat...scared to death. I did my pre-op this past Monday. I just met someone 2 weeks ago that had the surgery 20 years ago and she looks wonderful. She has been a big inspiration and answered lots of questions for me, however everyone is different she says. Keep in touch
