yes i have been on this surgery for 3 years , due to excessive surgies i have had i have packed on about 95 lbs with my knees getting worse and all the above lol. i am not nervous, im so excited i just cant wait til tuesday lol. dont be nervous , just think of how much better you will feel and look. and all the medications you will be able to void out in the future!!!! how is your daughter doing now?? i will pray for you!!! keep in contact jenn

I had surgery on 8/12 and I feel very good, I have some pain where my drainage tubes are but other than that I am fine. I am actually having to force myself to drink the liquid diet. I am just not hungry. Last night was the first time I actually thought about food but it passed. The worst thing so far is having to swallow my medications in crushed pill form, it tastes so horrible. I have already lost close to 10 pounds the first week. The surgery was such a shock to my system and my old way of eating everything in sight. I am looking forward to the next few months, I cant wait.

Hi Linda, It's my first time on I am having my surgery Aug 25 also. Just did all my final run thru with the doc today and pre registered with the hospital. I guess it's really happening! Good luck with your surgery.

Possibly. I am also diabetic and my sugar has a tendency to increase when I am stressed. Good luck on your surgery.
