Topic: RE: What should I eat?
do you like ricotta cheese. I think it has a better taste than cottage, not there yet since only 1 week post op but will check back ....look at www.bariatriceating.com under help, recipes, there is a section on clear liquids, full liquids and soft foods for ideas. Hope this helps.

Topic: New Comer
I just had my surgery on 8/29. So far things are great. I feel really good. I am so excited about the possibilities of my weight loss.
My only concern is that I really do not feel any different. Can anyone share their experience with the band the first few weeks post op.
Thanks.
Topic: What should I eat?
I am about a month out of surgery. I feel like I'm running out of things to eat. At first, I loved cottage cheese; now I can't even look at it. I supposed to be eating pureed food still at this point. I start school tomorrow and I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions of what I should pack for lunch.
Tuesday will be my 4 weeks since surgery and I've lost about 24 lbs. Any advise will be great. Thanks!

Does any one know when the bariatric meeting is at Cabell Huntington Hospital? I haven't been able to go due to working. I don't work now and would love to join in. I need all the support I can get.

Congratulations on your surgery. You are just healing!! I had my surgery July 21st and it took a couple of weeks for my incisions to stop itching.
Topic: RE: Aetna Insurance
My surgeon office was fantastic. They knew exactly what Aetna required. Made sure i completed all the requirments then submited the request. I was approved within one week of sending info to Aetna. With Aetan it is easy. Do what they require and you will have not problems.
Topic: RE: Where to start?

Thanks for the response guys. It makes me feel alot better to know that I am not the only one. I did a lot of research before my surgery but I did not bother to check out how I would feel. Suprise suprise, weight gain bloatet dizzy loose stools ect ect. How could I not have expected this. I sure hope things get better soon.
