Topic: RE: not feeling well...3 weeks out
I've had a few off days as well.  a couple of days ago i was getting dizzy everytime i stood up.  the replies i got was that it was either low blood pressure or dehydration.  i kinda feel like it could also be that i'm not getting much food in so i'm weak.  i'm lucky to get 1 meal in a day.  it's getting better now and i just have to make myself eat even if i don't want it.  try to get as much water in as possible and maybe start taking some b12 for energy.  hang in there, you'll get past it!

Topic: not feeling well...3 weeks out
its been 3 weeks since my surgery and as of my 2 week appt i had lost 30 pounds.  now my surgeon has me on a soft and pureed food diet.  i am trying really hard to get all my fluids and protiens but i am just not feeling well.  i have been feeling really weak and faint the past 2 days.  i have no energy to do anything.  my apartment looks like a bomb went off in it cuz i cant get the energy to do anything.  any advice?  is anyone else experiencing this?  i will try harder with the fluids and protien i guess and see if that helps.  any advice from you guys?  thanks in advance!

Topic: 5 Weeks Post Surgery Questions and Worries
Hello everyone.  Still happy with my sleeve.  Weight loss in the first 3 weeks was great, but has slowed down now to about 1kg a week or so.  My current weight is 86kg's.  I wrote down my calories consumed today and it was 1100. Bit worried that it may be too much, that I am picking up bad habits and snacking on things I would not have done before the surgery because they go down ok Vs any sold food or even slightly lumpy food. Probably not drinking enough liquids either, but it takes so long to eat anything and you have to wait so long before and after eating to avoid this dumping syndrome.  Have not really started exercising yet, only feel ready to do so now as I am starting to feel my old self again. Suppose I am just really bored with the liquids and soups. Also find that I forget to eat or drink slower sometimes and then feel really nauseous and uncomfortable.  When I have felt unwell, it was definitely because I ate to much, too fast or the wrong thing so fully accept that it has been self inflicted.  Any comments appreciated. Suppose just having an off day, worried that I wont get to my goal and that I am stretching my new smaller tummy.

Topic: RE: August Updates, come join in!
 Surgery date was 11th August

Feeling ok. Have had some emotional spells, which is unusual for me.  Also hugged the toilet bowl a few times this week as I have been experimenting with soft foods rather than liquids.

Mashed potato and gravy.  Started nibbling on crisps this week which go down well for some reason. Got to focus on not picking up bad habits

Have lost 18 pounds in the first 4-5 weeks

Surgery type was Vertical Sleeve gastrectomy

What else? Wrote down my calorie intake today and it was 1100! Going to write everything I eat down for the time being and watch out that I dont start picking up bad habits.  Some foods seem to go down fine and others no way at all.  Cheese for example does not seem to give me too much trouble and is high fat!  Really struggling with any slighty lumpy food.  Only able to have liquids, soft mashed potatoe, crisps and yoghurt.
