Okay.. not to sound mean but Im going to be blunt because I have done the same thing too BUT... When I realized it I stopped it.   I have been given a tool and I need to use it.   I pray to God that I never gain my weight back but it is up to me.   I know I have to get a certain amount of exercise and I have to watch what I eat.    I wish you the best of luck.   Maybe you need to do something positive for yourself for a change.   Buy yourself a new outfit and realize how far you are coming.

This happened to me so I know how you feel, I even had a surgery date set and every thing got cancelled cuz he said he felt I didn't know enough about the after effects of the surgery which was bull. I had to go thru an 8-week class and then go back to him to he could finally say I could go on with it. The class or psychotheraphy sessions as they called it didn't even pertain to the surgery. You got to get past this and just do what they want, remember it will be worth it all in the end,  before I got over it and during the sessions I let everyone know how I felt even the shrink. So raise those sails again and full speed ahead ahead, I now am rescheduled for Dec 1.  Good Luck, we will get there!

well it has been 2 months now since my surgery.  i was doing great at first.  but now that i can eat normal food again i am doing horrible.  i feel like i am sabotaging myself.  eating bad, not getting enough protien, not exercising enough.  and i hate it but dont know what to do about it.  anyone else go through this.  i have lost over 50 pounds so far which is good i guess but only lost 6 pounds in the last 3 weeks which is disappointing.  i am just feeling really down on myself like i did all this for nothing!  and i am ruining all the [pain i went through to get the surgery and the pain afterwards.

What was your surgery date?  8/21/08

How are you feeling?  Good

What is your favorite food on your menu?  seafood and salads

How much have you lost? 40 lbs

What type of surgery did you have?   Lap RnY

What else?  Chicken and red meat doesn't sit well with me.   Maybe I'll become that type of vegan.  Happy that I can eat seafood.  I'm actually cooking better for myself and family - low fat, high protein.   Thank god for laughing Cow cheese!!!

What was your surgery date? August 21,2008

How are you feeling? I have my good and bad days. Had some bouts of throwing up (eating 2 fast)

What is your favorite food on your menu? Mash potatoes

How much have you lost? 25 pounds

What type of surgery did you have? RNY

What else? The first week I was thinking that I made a mistake about the surgery, then I started to feel better. By the 3rd week I was experiencing a lot of discomfort and  was having regrets again. Now I am glad I did it. My B. pressure is much improved, I am sleeping better (less snoring) and the joint pain is better. Looking forward to completing this part of the journey and meeting my goal weight by this time next year.

i am "stuck" at 230 as well and this is my 2nd stall in 7 weeks. It does make me a bit frustrated, but i know i won't fail at this and it will eventually come off again.

Perhaps I am wrong, but it seems like a lot of us got in this situation because we are emotional eaters.  I was also told I should see someone about my emotional eat...but luckily for me it did not slow down the process.

Good luck!
