Surgery on Monday

Good Luck To both Of You! I had my Lap band 8-01-08 so I am only 3 weeks out.....It only took about 1 1/2 hours for me to be banded and I never had to take the 1st pain pill although I did have discomfort walking,actually I walked bent over for 12 days,But on the 13th day it was as if I never had surgery : ) I was back to normal...The bad part is when the swelling leaves so does the retriction you feel,Just wanted to let you know because I wasn't prepared to be hungrey again..But the good news is I get my 1st fill on the 17th of Sept after a 6 weeks of healing and the doctor says I will start losing with that fill so I look forward to it. Hey Gladys, My surgery is next wednesday. Thanks for letting us know about the hunger part until the first fill.

My surgery is on the 27th. Good luck. I'm alittle nervous but I have been investigating WLS for three years now.

Best of luck to everyone of you!!! i can't wait to get my lapband! by the way how to you put these cute little ticklers on??????? i just love them and can't figure out how to do it.

hi mark i had my bypass on 6/10 i only missed 1 week of work and could have gone back after 4 days if i had too, more importantly ive lost  63 lbs and im off all meds and feel better than i have in 20 yrs, just keep in mind the first day is rough, the next day is 50% better the 3rd day is 75% better and then you go home and sleep for a day ,wake up and wonder what you were worried about because you feel fine. be carefull what you eat for a few weeks and that will be easy because you wont be hungry at all good luck god bless and all will be fine   frank
