Finally alone after surgery - feeling really good

I had surgery Wednesday morning, and everything went well. I even forgot to use the morphine machine very much. Haven't been on any pain medicince since. I hope this doesn't change on me; but I really thought I would be feeling a bit more used up than I am. Trying to keep myself from doing too much, but I can't believe how good I feel and how smooth it all went once I got the date. It did take a few years with the insurance but so far go great. Thanks for everyone on this board, I have been an avid lurker for months.

Great to hear!! I am almost a week out of surgery and I am pain free...tomorrow I start up my cardio again...I wish you well!!

Still waiting on my LB day. Congratulations to you though. Did you have the bypass surgery. From what I understand, mine is outpatient. Starts at 8:30 in the AM and should be home by 5:30 in the PM at the latest.
