I am so happy to be home. Surgery went well and I am on my way to recovery. Anyone else out there recently home. How are you feeling? Any good recipe's for the blended month- let me know. Anyone dreaming of food and buffetts like me! Oh my god I almost panicked one night I actually thought I ate the pizza, it was just a dream. This is not easy. I can't wait to feel a little better and not be so scared as to how much I can put in my mouth, etc. Keep me posted! Lisa1965 [email protected]

I am 3 days post-op and feeling good, I myself am struggling with the mental part of not eating but the physical part has not been an issue for me yet. I am up and around and not really even that sore anymore or having any pain, I haven't taken the pain meds that I got when I left the hospital. I basically am just a little worried about my energy level when I go back to work on Monday. How is your energy??

I had surgery on 8/12 and I feel very good, I have some pain where my drainage tubes are but other than that I am fine. I am actually having to force myself to drink the liquid diet. I am just not hungry. Last night was the first time I actually thought about food but it passed. The worst thing so far is having to swallow my medications in crushed pill form, it tastes so horrible. I have already lost close to 10 pounds the first week. The surgery was such a shock to my system and my old way of eating everything in sight. I am looking forward to the next few months, I cant wait.
