frank, i'm so sorry you are having some problems. i was the exact same way at about 8 weeks out. i could eat nothing. it was so bad that frankly...(no pun intended) didn't want to eat at all. slowly i found a few things i could eat. and, now, really i can eat just about anything i want. i jus****ch it. i never took protein shakes, bars or instant meals. the fact that you have the runs all the time is not really great. can you list some of things you are able to tolerate??? maybe it's time to change nuts...or get some diet input????

Maybe that will pass with more time. Its only been two months. I had lap band so i don't know much about bypass but other people I know have had it and they eat normally. Good Luck and I'm sorry your having a hard time.

Hi Frank, I'm 2 weeks out and had diarrhea continuously. My doc recommended that I add powdered fiber to my shakes and that was all I needed to get it to stop. I hope this helps. Cherri
